The centrepiece of any Abu Dhabi visit. The world’s third largest mosque — 82 domes, 1,096 columns, a 12-tonne chandelier, and carpet hand-knotted by 1,200 artisans. Free entry for all visitors. Modest dress required — free abayas provided at the entrance.

Emirates Palace Hotel

One of the world’s most opulent hotels — AED 11 billion construction cost, 1,000+ chandeliers, 114 domes. Photo stop at the gates. The famous gold-flake cappuccino can be arranged inside as an optional extra.

Abu Dhabi Corniche

The 8km waterfront promenade along the Arabian Gulf — manicured beaches, the city skyline backdrop, Etihad Towers across the water. A walk here gives a real sense of Abu Dhabi’s scale and serenity compared to Dubai.

Louvre Abu Dhabi

Jean Nouvel’s extraordinary island museum — the 180-metre dome creates a “rain of light” effect as sunlight filters through geometric gaps. Exterior and surroundings free to photograph. Museum interior is an optional add-on.

Yas Island & F1 Circuit

Home to the Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix. The Yas Marina Circuit is visible from the road — the Yas Viceroy Hotel straddles the track itself. Ferrari World exterior is also visible. Theme park entry is not included in the standard tour.

Heritage Village & Lunch

Is the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque included and is it free?

Yes — mosque visit is included in the standard tour and entry is free for all visitors. Modest dress required: women must cover hair and wear an abaya (free abayas provided at the entrance). Men must wear long trousers and covered shoulders. The mosque is closed to non-Muslim visitors on Friday mornings.

Can I visit the Louvre Abu Dhabi inside?

The standard tour includes an exterior photo stop. If you’d like to go inside, entry tickets (approximately AED 63 per adult) can be arranged as an add-on — advise us when booking and we’ll include time for a visit.

How long is the drive from Dubai to Abu Dhabi?

Approximately 90 minutes (140km) on the E11 Sheikh Zayed Road — a fast, comfortable motorway. Your guide uses the drive time to brief you on Abu Dhabi’s history. Total day including travel is approximately 10 hours, returning to Dubai by early evening.
