- Children 3+ years — welcome. Under 3 may join at parents’ discretion (no dune bashing for infants).
- Seniors — welcome. Guests can skip the dune bashing and go direct to camp if preferred.
- Pregnant guests — dune bashing not recommended. Camp activities are still available.
- Back/neck conditions — please advise us. We can arrange gentler driving on request.

Hotel pickup is between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM depending on your location in Dubai. You’ll arrive in the desert around 4:00–4:30 PM to enjoy the dunes during the golden hour. The safari ends with hotel drop-off at approximately 9:30 PM. The total duration is around 6 hours.

Yes, hotel pickup and drop-off is included in all our evening desert safari packages at no extra cost. We collect guests from hotels and residences anywhere in Dubai (including JBR, Marina, Downtown, Deira, Bur Dubai, Business Bay) and Sharjah.
Is the evening desert safari suitable for children?
Yes, the evening desert safari is very family-friendly. Children above 3 years are welcome. Dune bashing is not recommended for infants under 3 or pregnant women. Children can safely enjoy camel rides, sandboarding, henna painting, and the cultural shows. Child pricing applies for ages 3–12.
Where does the evening desert safari take place?
The safari takes place in the Al Faaqr Desert (also known as the red dune area), located approximately 45–50 km southeast of Dubai city. This area is famous for its tall, photogenic red sand dunes and is the most scenic desert safari location in Dubai. The drive from Dubai takes around 40–50 minutes.
What should I wear for the evening desert safari?
Wear comfortable, lightweight, loose clothing — cotton trousers and a t-shirt are ideal. Bring a light jacket or shawl for after sunset, as the desert cools considerably from October to April. Wear closed-toe shoes or sturdy sandals with straps. Avoid loose flip-flops. Bring sunglasses and sunscreen for the afternoon portion. Leave heavy jewellery at home.
Do I need to book in advance?
