How much does a quad bike safari cost in Dubai?
Red Dunes quad bike prices start from AED 200 for a 1-hour session on the 400cc ATV. The double-seater costs AED 300 for 1 hour or AED 500 for 2 hours. The Yamaha Raptor 700 costs AED 400 for 1 hour or AED 650 for 2 hours. All prices include hotel pickup, safety gear and a guide — no hidden extras.
Do I need a driving licence to ride a quad bike in Dubai?
No driving licence is required for any of our quad bike sessions. All bikes are automatic and we provide a full safety briefing before every session. Our guides will have you comfortable on the bike before you set off. Beginners are very welcome.
What is the minimum age for quad biking with Red Dunes?
Drivers must be 14 or older to ride the 400cc ATV (parental consent required for under-18s). The Kymco double-seater and Yamaha Raptor 700 require drivers to be 16 or older. Passengers on the Kymco can be from age 5+ when accompanied by an adult driver. For younger children, our Evening Desert Safari welcomes children from age 3.
Which quad bike should I choose?
If you’ve never ridden a quad before, start with the 400cc ATV — easy to handle at controlled speeds. If you want to bring a partner or child, the Kymco double-seater is perfect and the most popular choice. If you’re a confident rider who wants the most powerful machine and maximum speed on the dunes, choose the Yamaha Raptor 700. Still unsure — message us on WhatsApp and we’ll recommend the right one for your group.
Is hotel pickup included in the quad bike safari?
No. Hotel pickup and drop-off in a 4×4 Land Cruiser is not included in all Red Dunes quad bike packages. On request we collect from hotels, apartments and meeting points across Dubai and Sharjah. Pickup time is confirmed on booking.
How long does the quad bike safari take in total?
Total time including hotel pickup, the 45-minute transfer each way, safety briefing, and your 1 or 2-hour riding session is typically 3.5 to 4.5 hours. The riding time on the dunes is exactly as booked — 1 hour or 2 hours on the sand.
Can I combine quad biking with a desert safari BBQ dinner?
Yes — and it’s our most popular combination. Quad biking in the afternoon followed by a full evening desert safari (dune bashing, camel ride, henna, belly dance and unlimited BBQ dinner) in the same Al Faaqr desert. Contact us on WhatsApp and we’ll package both together.
Do I need to book in advance?
Advance booking is strongly recommended, especially October to April when sessions fill quickly. Book via WhatsApp at +971 551 532 550 for instant confirmation. Last-minute same-day bookings are possible depending on availability.
